Doing It For Swing

On 22 March 2006, Brian Daley, aka DJ Swing, lost his battle with multiple myeloma. His loss, as a father, brother, friend and a DJ is still a hard one for us to bare.

To help celebrate his life, on 22 March 2007 we organised a 24 hour online radio station called "Doing It For Swing" which could only be accessed via the website, www.doingitforswing.co.uk . The day was a wonderful success, we dropped some serious soul, swing, hip hop and boogie beats, and thanks to so many generous people, we raised nearly £2,000, which was donated to the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT) www.aclt.org.

Guess what, we're back again. So on Friday 28 March to Saturday 29 March, from 8am- 8am, exclusively through www.doingitforswing.co.uk , you will be able to listen to a treat of soul, swing,r&b,hip hop beats. We're also aiming to break the Guinness Book of Records for the most listeners to a online 24 hour radio station, so with your help we can break this record. There will be a prize for the person who guesses how many listeners we will have.

So folks, remember the day, 28 March 2008, remember the charity, the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust, remember the record and lets all join together to remember the man who helped give us so many wonderful music and personal memories, Brian Daley, DJ Swing.

Peace
